Trinity B.A.T. 5-7-9 Exhibition Cataloge
The Berlinetta Aerodinamica Tecnica studies – B.A.T. 5, 7 and 9 – are among the most iconic car designs of the 20th century. Sculptural visions born of speed and aerodynamics. In 2020, Phillips London dedicated an exhibition to these mythical Bertone concept cars – a rare reunion of three avant-garde masterpieces.
For this singular occasion, we created a catalogue that itself becomes a design object. Rather than following classical editorial logic, the layout mirrors the language of the cars: bold, asymmetrical, radically composed. Full views are rare – instead, the focus lies on fragments. Tail fins, air intakes, sweeping lines – all staged like artworks, abstracted from function.
Here, the automobile transcends its purpose. Design takes centre stage. The catalogue becomes not just a companion piece, but part of the exhibition itself – and a tribute to a futuristic dream shaped by designer Franco Scaglione.
