Printed Green, Awarded Blue
How do you communicate real sustainability without falling into greenwashing clichés? For trodat®, we developed two campaigns that don’t claim – they show. Responsibility is designed here, down to the last detail.
The first campaign launched the world’s first stamp to be certified with the “Blue Angel” eco-label. To visualise its environmental credentials, we created a layered paper cutout motif: the stamp at the centre, framed by leaves and foliage, all in subtle shades of blue – placed on a textured natural paper background. A calm, crafted image with visual depth and clarity.
The second key visual reimagines trodat®’s iconic stamp – this time covered in grass, wildflowers, and moss, standing in a blooming meadow with the Alps behind. Butterflies and bees flutter through a blurred foreground, giving the image a soft, almost poetic realism. The product becomes a symbol of ecological commitment.
Both visuals were used as postcards and print ads, offering a clear message: this brand doesn’t just talk about sustainability – it puts it into practice.
